Vince has an extensive background within the Australian Automotive industry, spanning over two decades. During his incumbents at Ford Motor Company, Vince predominantly specialized in warehouse operations - beginning his role as a store man and forklift driver and gradually widening his skills and knowledge in inventory management systems & team leadership.
With an eager-to-learn attitude and outgoing personality, Vince actively participated and undertook multiple courses thus diversifying his skills to confidently work within an array of production and manufacturing operations. Through these learning opportunities, he has learnt many different lean methodological systems, especially since the FPS (Ford Production Systems) continuous improvement model shares a similar concept to TPS (Toyota Production Systems).
As a part-time venture, Vince has a technical passion for working on cars and tinkering with electronics and computers. To further widen his future career options and build on his long-term employability capabilities, Vince took up evening classes and persevered to graduating in Electronics Engineering before achieving his master’s degree in Computing.
As a trainer and assessor, Vince has had many diverse roles within his profession, covering responsibilities from liaising autonomously with clients and engaging learners in continuous training and improvement projects.
