Danny

Danny

Trainer and Assessor

Throughout Danny’s career, he has gained extensive experiences across many industries in training and coaching. He started out his training and coaching career as a school teacher in South America and sees himself even to this day as a teacher who enjoys and believes in training and coaching in different areas especially in Food Processing and in Competitive Systems and Practices.

When Danny came to Australia back in 2000, he joined Pilkington Glass Automotive as a Plant Manager where he was responsible to meet continuous plant improvements and overall management with a zero loss time injury. Danny’s ability to ask the right questions at the right time resulted in getting everyone's involvement and participation. From these ideas and improvements, the plant has achieved a 10% R.O.I through the introduction of SMART KPIs, people commitment in decision making and accountability as well as 5S.

From his fruitful employment with Pilkington Glass, Danny had a positive career at Toyota for 5 years where he continued to learn more about the manufacturing industry which has further enhanced his achievements and understanding of lean principles and the application of lean tools/concepts. Having worked so closely and established connections with operating workers from the lower end of the organisation hierarchy, Danny wanted to reach out so he can share his wealth of knowledge with more frontline operation workers and hence, that prompted for his return to his teaching roots.

As a trainer and assessor within the VET sector, Danny has made it his personal goal to engage students and tap on their professional growth and learning capabilities by engaging them every step of the way. Danny varies his approach for all learners, encouraging Managers and businesses to maximise their abilities, refine their techniques and learn new ways and tools to nurturing learners that are new to the industry or that struggle with the English language.

Ultimately, Danny would like to see that positive growth in learners for a better future and in their chosen career.
